New Year More Challenges for the 2018 G.A.

We here in CT have a new legislative year quickly approaching with looming debt, layoffs and either much higher additional taxes or huge additional budget cuts coming - a lot of very hard choices to make

What will happen in the "Lame Duck" weeks and months of our government in CT?
What SHOULD happen and what WILL happen of course are 2 very different things.
The democrats still control the general assembly until the new senators and representatives are sworn in next January;  let's hope the 2018 elections change that.

What SHOULD Happen is attacking the enormous budget problem but the democrats have other plans which will result in raising our taxes again and forcing homeowners and taxpayers in small towns and the suburbs to pay for the mismanagement and corruption of the cities that are doing poorly for their choices and continued refusal to spend their money wisely...

Ideally our elected officials will do the hard work of properly downsizing our bloated government and find solutions that will make the needed part of government that is required to run more efficiently while providing Better Service for those necessary items while managing to Lower the Costs of providing those services.

It is going to be a very hard job if the elected officials have the fortitude to make the cuts going through the budget line by line and department by department...

Each department and all of their offices need to be opened up; looked at separately as well as to how they relate to the whole wider government.
Weigh whether the department is in fact needed or has it become an old outdated form of government that really does not meet the needs of the citizens of Connecticut in the 21st century...
Weigh out exactly what each position does from the very top to the bottom in each of these departments which positions should be eliminated entirely or adjusted for our present and future needs?

Asking very Important questions like:
What expenses are being paid to out of state and even out of country businesses that should be instead contracted with Connecticut businesses? Taxpayer moneys should be spent in CT whenever possible

Can the position be done more effectively in the private sector?
Can the position be done more effectively at the town level?
Can the job be done in an electronic manner to reduce time and cost?

How many employees are actually needed vs how many are high level titles that really shouldn't be there in the first place because they do not actually assist in getting the work done for the people in Connecticut?

If you were able to make changes in our government what suggestions would you make to which departments and why would you make them?

Leave me your thoughts in the comments below.

Resisting the Green Dragon - a Movie Series

What does the bible say about science, climate change and caring for the earth?

Watch the video series on Vimeo

Resisting the Green Dragon from CDR Communications on Vimeo.
Without doubt one of the greatest threats to society and the church today is the multifaceted environmentalist movement. Although its reach is often subtle, there isn’t an aspect of life that it doesn’t seek to force into its own mold.

Environmentalism has become a new religion.
Environmentalism’s policies are devastating to the world’s poor.
Environmentalism threatens the sanctity of life.
Environmentalism is targeting our youth.
Environmentalism’s vision is global.

Resisting the Green Dragon takes its cue from James 4:7, “Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” Learn how the Bible powerfully confronts environmental fears and how – in God’s wise design – people and nature can thrive together.

This explosive series, conducted by some of the top Christian leaders and scholars in America, contains twelve half-hour sessions along with a special 30-minute bonus documentary, and a discussion guide with questions and suggested practical applications suitable for churches, Sunday schools, families, classrooms, home schools, and small groups.

Resisting the Green Dragon is a production of Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation.

Change It or Obey It? — Why the Constitution is the Solution

There seems to be more people talking about changing the constitution my question to you is "WHY? "

If they (the elected officials) are not following the current constitution as it is currently written; what makes you think that they will write changes that will protect us or benefit us and follow that any better than they are now??"

Seriously think on that and watch this quick video while you think about it...

Agenda 21 for your representatives.

This is a video which explains in a simple form what UN Agenda 21 aka now as UNA21/2030 that you can show to friends, family and elected officials and zoning commissioners.

Many of our elected officials and zoning commissioners are everyday people and do not always fully understand what is being presented in the longer term and how it will affect businesses and families in their town and state.

If your family, friends and neighbors know and understand what is being proposed; they can also speak to the elected officials and ask questions with educated ears for the answers.

Watch and share

What will happen in the "Lame Duck" weeks of our government in CT?
What SHOULD happen & what WILL happen of course are 2 very different things.
The democrats still control the general assembly until the new senators & representatives are sworn in in January; where the senate will then be tied 18 to 18 & the difference in the house is greatly reduced.

What SHOULD Happen is attacking the enormous budget problem but the democrats have other plans which will result in raising our taxes again & forcing homeowners & taxpayers in small towns & the suburbs to pay for the mismanagement & corruption of the cities that are doing poorly for their choices & refusal to spend their money wisely...

LIVE: WAYNE DUPREE SHOW 11/14/16

Do you follow Wayne Dupree on WAAR & RSBN?

I've been following Wayne since 2012 when he was better known as the NewsNinja.
He's been an inspiration for me as he is one of the many New Media Citizen Reporters that is going out there & reporting on the news.

The main stream major media is taking a hit to their ratings because men & women like Wayne have a voice on the internet & they are reporting what the main stream media refuses to report.

What I like about Wayne & his crew is that their voice is growing stronger & they are making good use of it. They are calling out the BS, they are calling the people to get informed & get active.

He's connected with others along the way so that they now have several people connected together.
The team is growing & expanding as people join in as others leave for new opportunities.
It is interesting to listen to the callers having a say about what is happening
202-470-6738 is the number for callers if you can get through & talk on air with the team.

I hope that the GOP both at the national & state & even the local levels take Wayne's advice to get now into our urban areas & most importantly Stay There to Outreach & Educate & grow the party

Bill of Rights (Shake it off) #FreedomFriday

#FreedomFriday FUN!
This group of high school students made learning the Bill of Rights fun for themselves & their classmates.

Share their video to celebrate the Freedoms that we have here in the USA.

Maybe challenge your children or grandchildren to make a video to help teach their classmates about some of the important history lessons that seem to be getting neglected in recent years?

C is for Clinton TV

A little tune to sing today; as we prepare for the Presidential Debate tonight...
Yes it's a RePost BlogPost but this is actually an important election & there is way too much nastiness going on across the political aisle so this is a nicer way to point out the #OppressiveProgressivePropaganda

A reminder of some important things and the reason may of us are saying

I'm resharing this post on the weekend just in case you missed it earlier this week - there is a very short period of time left for poll watchers to get signed up

This is a video from 2015 from the group True the Vote.

This video gives some projects from #TrueTheVote which people can start doing on their own.

Citizens can & should be active in an attempt to help get our voter rolls updated & purged of those dead or moved out of state or were fraudulently registered.

Preventing, Reporting and Stopping #VoterFraud is the responsibility of every citizen in the USA

Harriet Tubman: Republican Icon for the Money | ZoNation #FreedomFriday

Harriet Tubman was a Freedom Fighter helping to lead slaves to freedom out of slavery back in her day...

One of the quotes that I do love which is attributed to her is

"I freed a thousand slaves; I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves"

#NotAllChainsAreVisible is a hashtag which I have used in the past & will again in the future because just like Harriet's quote above, there is a problem of people being "Mentally Enslaved" so that they are basically "stuck" in their current position due to their mind set.

This mental slavery can affect people of all colors & nationalities & political parties including both rich & poor in the grips of mental chains that place them in an invisible cage.

Are you a Free Man or Slave?

Founders of CT #FreedomFriday

We are reminded of our history in CT by William Brown at his recent trip to the capitol in Hartford.

Do they still teach about the history of our state in the public schools any more? It seems that many of our young people do not know the rich history that our state has.
