Beyond The Cloud - Documentary film about vaping

Today I'm sharing an older documentary film about vaping posted on youtube called "Beyond the Cloud" which shows the pros & cons of vaping along with some of the controversy involved.

Vaping has enabled members of my family & myself to be able to #QuitSmoking cigarettes & successfully remain #SmokeFree after decades of smoking menthol cigarettes. 

Politics & Money seem to be more involved with the pushing against all forms of Vaping rather than helpful medical studies of those who have been able to use these harm reducing forms to get off the profitable but deadly traditional combustion cigarettes & cigars which are known to cause cancers & other health problems...

Ziggy was a man who loved his adopted country & was frequently seen across Connecticut waving the flag dressed in the American Flag Motif.

Ziggy passed away a few years ago but his memory lives on both in spirit & via videos like this...

This is the Instagram promo collage of the DC Elected officials that were slated to speak last year in March for DefenDemocracy's #CTOnTheMove event 

They held a marching and protest rally in Westport.... 

These men and women are the people who are running CT into the ground buried in debt, losing businesses, jobs and taxpaying families while giving preferences to non-citizens over the taxpaying citizens and our families including seniors and veterans....

Many of the people in this collage are running for elected positions on the democrat and working families party ballot lines this year...

If we are going to #FixCT then it is our job to make the public aware of the bad policies that these people have been voting and promoting...

Our jobs are not to beat up the CT GOP candidates regardless of our personal opinions about them - our jobs are to positively promote the positions and policies of those candidates which we do prefer so that we beat the people in this collage and make a better state and country for our families

I'm not certain of the process to officially be a 

"Write In Candidate" or how a draft campaign works 

But I am going to write in Paul Panos 

for the Windsor Board of Ed 

Why you ask would I write in a candidate that dropped off the ballot... because I know that he cares about the education of our children and he is willing to fight for the wiser spending of our tax dollars at the Windsor public school system...

He was initially on the ballot but he stepped down because he had surgery that was preventing him from the campaigning around the town that needed to be done. 

I'm writing in Paul Panos for Board of Ed 

because I think that if enough of us do write him in, 

now that he's feeling better and able to get around that 

he will agree to serve for another term!

2016 is now behind us 
Most of us are now up out of the party mode and are back to daily life; work or school collect the check and pay the bills...

The question is how are we rising up to face 2017?
2017 is a year which is full of promise and hope to some or the dismay and doom for others...

How do you view the coming year? 

Is this a year that you will make needed changes to your life to make it better for you and your family or will you chose to make this a year of grumblings stuck in a rut and wallowing in willful wasteful pursuits?

Harriet Tubman was a Freedom Fighter helping to lead slaves to freedom out of slavery back in her day...

One of the quotes that I do love which is attributed to her is

"I freed a thousand slaves; I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves"

#NotAllChainsAreVisible is a hashtag which I have used in the past & will again in the future because just like Harriet's quote above, there is a problem of people being "Mentally Enslaved" so that they are basically "stuck" in their current position due to their mind set. 

This mental slavery can affect people of all colors & nationalities & political parties including both rich & poor in the grips of mental chains that place them in an invisible cage.

All Politics are Local... who have we voted into office? Town Council, State Level & Federal are they "Working For US" which as elected officials they are Our Employees or just to line their own pockets with an Attitude that they are better than us?

Are we thriving or are we "Just Over Broke", are we Prospering or are we Pinching Pennies? Ask yourself WHY is that?

What conditions are our schools? Have our children been the priority or is our tax money being syphoned off into schemes & stadium pipedreams?

What is going on in our public schools? With all of the money which has been poured into one "experimental program" after another has the School to Prison Pipeline been shut down or is it still flowing strong?

You Have a Choice this November... the old Status Quo with more of the same results or a Fresh New Start with eyes that look from the perspective of what it is like to actually have to LIVE under these laws & increasing taxes...
