They keep pushing for a 3rd casino for our state...
What don't people understand about the Law of Supply and Demand?
The more of an item there is the less value it is so the costs and in this case PROFITS Go DOWN...
The problem with the east coast region is that there are way too many casinos within a few hours drive so there is no longer the profits that the 2 CT Casinos used to have because people are going elsewhere...
The elected officials are gambling with our future with a very losing hand...
I've been following Wayne since 2012 when he was better known as the NewsNinja.
He's been an inspiration for me as he is one of the many New Media Citizen Reporters that is going out there & reporting on the news.
The main stream major media is taking a hit to their ratings because men & women like Wayne have a voice on the internet & they are reporting what the main stream media refuses to report.
What I like about Wayne & his crew is that their voice is growing stronger & they are making good use of it. They are calling out the BS, they are calling the people to get informed & get active.
He's connected with others along the way so that they now have several people connected together.
The team is growing & expanding as people join in as others leave for new opportunities.
It is interesting to listen to the callers having a say about what is happening
202-470-6738 is the number for callers if you can get through & talk on air with the team.
I hope that the GOP both at the national & state & even the local levels take Wayne's advice to get now into our urban areas & most importantly Stay There to Outreach & Educate & grow the party
A little tune to sing today; as we prepare for the Presidential Debate tonight... Yes it's a RePost BlogPost but this is actually an important election & there is way too much nastiness going on across the political aisle so this is a nicer way to point out the #OppressiveProgressivePropaganda A reminder of some important things and the reason may of us are saying #NeverHillary #CrookedHillary Share on social so that others can be reminded or even just educated about those annoying little facts
I'm resharing this post on the weekend just in case you missed it earlier this week - there is a very short period of time left for poll watchers to get signed up This is a video from 2015 from the group True the Vote. This video gives some projects from #TrueTheVote which people can start doing on their own. Citizens can & should be active in an attempt to help get our voter rolls updated & purged of those dead or moved out of state or were fraudulently registered. Preventing, Reporting and Stopping #VoterFraud is the responsibility of every citizen in the USA

There have been reports all over the country about cases of #VoterFraud that has been uncovered. We have had an elected official a state rep that was arrested for voter fraud right here in CT... But as of yet we haven't heard of the case going to court nor if the charges that were pending against her mother (from what I recall she was also an elected official at the town level?) were ever filed? These are not isolated instances but ongoing problems that are being on rare occasion being publicly reported but not much is changing because those who need to prosecute the cases appear to benefit from the voter fraud... Even if there is no financial benefit and if the officials that should be taking action are not taking part directly in the fraud their refusal to act publicly gives the "Appearance" that they are in favor of the voter fraud...

#FridayFunny - in light of the pending DNC convention & the ending of the GOP Convention thought that this video might be a funny reprieve from all the talking heads
The #GOPDebate small stage starts at 7p. Then the main big stage debate will start at 9p. The main stage will be missing Donald Trump; who will be holding his own event to benefit veterans on CNN. It is reported that both Rick Santorum & Mike Huckabee will attend Donald's event after they finish their small stage debate.
